Non-Refundable Ticket Purchases
Subject to applicable law and the rules of the relevant competition, paid competition entries are treated as final once they have been validly submitted and paid. They are not normally refundable merely because an entrant changes their mind after purchase.
The principal exception addressed by this policy is where the promoter cancels the relevant competition. Nothing in this policy restricts any statutory right or other refund right that cannot legally be excluded.
Competition Cancellation
Mathis Denanot, trading as Sweepline, may cancel a Sweepline competition where cancellation is reasonably considered necessary and is permitted under the applicable terms and law. If a competition is cancelled by the promoter, affected paid entrants will be notified by email where practicable and eligible entry payments will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
Chargebacks and Payment Reversals
If a payment used to obtain paid competition entries is reversed, cancelled or charged back, the entries linked to that payment may be cancelled and removed from the competition, subject to applicable law and the outcome of any genuine payment dispute.
Customers retain their legitimate rights to challenge unauthorised, duplicated or incorrect transactions. However, abusive, fraudulent or knowingly unjustified chargebacks may result in measures reasonably necessary to protect the competition and the business. These may include cancellation of entries associated with the reversed payment, suspension of the relevant account, refusal of future paid participation and, where the winning entry depended on a payment that was reversed or invalid, loss of entitlement to the prize to the extent legally permitted.

Identification and Compliance Requirements
Before releasing a prize, Sweepline may require a potential winner to provide reasonable evidence confirming:
- their identity;
- that they are at least 18 years old;
- that they satisfy the eligibility requirements for the relevant competition;
- that they are the purchaser/entrant associated with the winning entry;
- where relevant, that the payment method used for the winning paid entry belongs to them or was used with proper authorisation.
Unless the specific competition rules provide another period, requested verification documents should be supplied within five days of the request. If satisfactory documentation is not provided within the required period, or if the entrant is found not to be eligible, the prize may be forfeited and another winner selected in accordance with the Competition Terms.
Competition tickets and entries are personal to the entrant and are not transferable unless the relevant Competition Terms expressly permit a transfer. Only the qualifying entrant recorded for the winning entry may claim the prize.

Liability and Losses
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to those mandatory rights, Mathis Denanot / Sweepline is not responsible for loss where there has been no breach of a legal duty owed to you, where the loss was not reasonably foreseeable, where the loss results from your own acts or omissions, or where the loss relates to business use and such exclusion is permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, you may be responsible for reasonably foreseeable losses, costs and expenses caused by your breach of the Competition Terms, misuse of the website, fraudulent payment behaviour or other unlawful conduct.
